Miss India 2022: Karnataka’s 21-year-old Sini Shetty becomes the winner

Latest Update on Miss India World 2022: Sini Shetty, a resident of Karnataka, became Miss India of the year on Sunday night, 3rd July, 2022. The prestigious event was held in Mumbai’s Jio Convention Centre where the young girl of 21 bagged the 1st prize.

In the Femina Miss India Competition 2022, Sini Shetty won hearts with her charm, presence of mind, beauty and magnetism. Along with Sini as Miss India, India also got two more beauty queens of the year. Uttar Pradesh’s Shinata Chauhan and Rajasthan’s Rubal Shekhawat are the two runners-up. The Femina Miss India Pageant is a talent-hunt show launched with the intention of finding exceptional talents from all parts of the country. This year, the first round of auditions was conducted virtually. Several Bollywood celebs like actors Dino Moria, Malaika Arora and Neha Dhupiya, designers Rahul Khanna and Rohit Gandhi, famous choreographer Shiamak Davar, and Mithila Raj, ex-cricket player graced the occasion with their presence. As per the tradition of the show, Manasa Varanasi, Femina Miss India 2021, passed on the gorgeous crown to the new winner.

Who is Sini Shetty?

Charming and smart, Sini Shetty has created quite a buzz on the internet with her iconic win of the Femina Miss India 2022 trophy. Born in Mumbai and brought up in a conservative family, Sini’s parents always supported her life’s choices. As far as her educational qualifications are concerned, Miss India has a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting. Sini Shetty is presently pursuing a degree in CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).

Sini is also a graceful Bharatnatyam Dancer with a passion for dancing from a tender age. She defines herself as a hustler, one who doesn’t give up and also a sympathetic individual.Sini Shetty, Miss India 2022 now looks forward to represent her country at the must-awaited 71st Miss World Pageant.
