The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will be organizing the PM National Apprenticeship Mela at more than 200 venues all over the country. Who will be from the Apprenticeship Mela? Can you apply for the mela? In this article, we’ll tell you all you need to know about PM National Apprenticeship Mela.

The Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela is an initiative taken by the Ministry of Skill Development. The Ministry will organize the ‘mela’ once a month with the intention of offering more opportunities to the youth in the country for on-ground training on various skills to enhance employment opportunities.

As per the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship’s press release, they’ll conduct the mela at 200+ locations in different states. The first PM National Apprenticeship Mela took place on 13th June, 2022 between 9 am and 5 pm. More than 1000 companies working in 36 sectors will took part in the mela.

PM National Apprenticeship Mela: Are you eligible?

Aspirants with a pass certificate for the 5th grade and the 12th grade, ITI Diploma, a skill training certificate, or a graduate degree in any field is eligible for applying for an interview in opportunities or trades. The participants will have the freedom to choose from 500+ trades which include housekeepers, mechanics, beauticians, welders, electricians and then list is unending.

Benefits of PM National Apprenticeship Mela:

The National Council of Vocational Education and Training, abbreviated as NCVET, will provide an apprenticeship certificate to the candidate after completing the training, thus giving them valuable industry recognition. Organizations will have the opportunity to choose talented apprentices at PM National Apprenticeship Mela and small-scale industries will also hire potential candidates.
