What is the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign?
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Abhiyan, a significant project under “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, will take place from 13th Aug, 2022 to 15th Aug, 2022 in Madhya Pradesh. The main motto of the campaign is to ensourage Indian citizens to bring the flag of India, the National Flag home and hoist it with pride to celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day.
The public’s relationship with the flag is not personal but institutional and formal. Hoisting the flag at home in the presence of family members will thus help people establish a personal connection with the tiranga. They will feel more committed to act in favor of nation-building. What better occasion to strengthen our bond with the National Flag than on the 75th Independence Day? So, the main idea behind the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative is to rekindle patriotic feelings in the hearts of Indians and to increase awareness about the National Flag.
