Hartalika Teej 2022 will be celebrated on 30th August, 2022 (Tuesday) in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. This Hindu festival is observed by doing ‘nirjala’ fasting.

Unmarried women fast to seek the partner of their dreams and married women celebrate Teej praying for the health and prosperity of their husbands. 

According to the Drik Panchang, Tritiya Tithi has already started on 29th August at 3:20 pm and will end on 30th Aug at 3:33 pm. So, the best time to pray is between 6:05 am and 8:38 am or between 6:33 pm and 8:51 pm. 

1. The puja should be performed early morning after taking a bath and putting on fresh clothes.

Hartalika Teej 2022 Puja Vidhi: Dos and Don’ts:

2. In the puja sthan place Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha’s idols on banana leaves and do the puja sitting on a chowki. 3. As per Hindu mythology, it is customary to first offer your prayers to Lord Ganesha, followed by performing the ‘aarti’ of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati.

4. Distribute the Prasad and bhog only after offering it to the deities.  5. On Hartalika Teej 2022 avoid wearing anything is black as it isn’t considered holy as per Hindu tradition.
