Live Update on SSC Scam Case: In connection to the Teacher Recruitment Scam in West Bengal, ED has arrested Partha Chatterjee, after questioning him overnight. ED officials have also recovered Rs. 20 crore cash Arpita Mukherjee, one of Partha Chatterjee’s close associates.

SSC Scam Case: Partha Chatterjee arrested by ED

On Saturday morning, 23rd July, 2022, the Enforcement Directorate has arrested Partha Chatterjee, Bengal’s Minister as he has been found guilty and actively involved in the school jobs scam in West Bengal.. The agency commenced the interrogation at his Kolkata residence at 8:00 A.M. on 22nd July (Friday) and the interrogation continued overnight.

SSC Scam Case: Rs. 20 crore cash & many mobile seized by ED

ED officials searched the properties of Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of Partha Chatterjee, and recovered a mountain of illegal cash yesterday from her South Kolkata residence. ED has also detained Arpita Mukherjee this morning after the agency’s officials were successful in seizing huge piles of money and many mobile phones from the lady’s house.

ED is doing a commendable job in revealing recruitment irregularities in WBBPE (West Bengal Board of Primary Education) and WBSSC (West Bengal School Service Commission). Partha Chatterjee was the Education Minister of West Bengal when the teacher recruitment scam took place. Presently, he is the Commerce and Industries Minister of Bengal and is also the Secretary General in the Trinamool Congress, West Bengal’s ruling party. Just like Chatterjee, ED is investigating and unmasking all those who allegedly participated in the teacher recruitment scam in Bengal to make easy money.
